My Story

The REME Charity exists to provide financial and emotional support to all members of The REME Family: Serving, Veterans and their families. The REME Charity helps the REME Family in a myriad of ways, which include direct monetary grants to individuals and enhancing the professional and social fabric of the Corps. We do this with dignity, without fuss and usually behind the scenes. We aim to be kind, determined and a gently inquisitive force for good, which seeks always to make life better, or more bearable, at work, at play or at home.

Lifting the Decks is our flagship programme promoting and supporting the REME Family to discuss mental health issues and the support available.
